Most people treat AI tools like a form of entertainment. This week I’ll share with you how to treat two powerhouse AI tools like income producing assets.

Claude writes. Canva designs. Pair the two together, and one person can produce the output of a small marketing agency. This guide covers how each tool works, how the two connect, and the exact math to reach $10,000 per month. Let’s get started…

What Claude Does for You

Claude is my #1 AI assistant built by Anthropic. You type a request (prompt) in plain English, and Claude writes and formats for you.

Claude is a key writing assistant for all of the creative industries experts. It writes blog posts, emails, sales pages, social media captions, and video scripts. You give Claude a topic and an audience, and you get a first draft in seconds.

Claude Projects keep your work organized, and can be use to store your style guide, client notes, and writing samples.

Claude creates files. Ask for a Word document, a PDF, a slide deck, or a spreadsheet, and it builds the file for you to download.

Claude plans. Ask for an outline a digital product, price an offer, or map a 30-day content calendar for a dentist, a realtor, or a fitness coach.

What Canva Does for You

Canva is an online design platform. You pick a template, drop in your text and photos, and download a finished design. No design degree required.

Canva offers thousands of templates for social posts, LinkedIn carousels, ebooks, planners, workbooks, and presentations.

The Brand Kit stores your logo, colors, and fonts. Every design stays on brand, for you and for each client.

Magic Studio adds AI design tools. You generate images, remove backgrounds, and resize one design for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook in a few clicks.

Bulk Create turns a spreadsheet into dozens of designs at once. Each row of text becomes its own graphic.

Canva exports to PDF, PNG, and MP4, so you can send your work straight to a client, a sales page, or a social feed.

How Claude and Canva Work Together

Here the income starts. Claude connects to Canva through a built-in connector. Once you link your Canva account inside Claude's settings, Claude creates designs in Canva, fills your brand templates with copy, and exports the finished files.

Your workflow looks like this:

  1. Claude writes 30 social posts for a client in the client's voice.

  2. Claude formats the posts as a spreadsheet, one post per row.

  3. Canva Bulk Create, or the Claude connector, turns each row into a branded graphic.

  4. You review, fix anything off, and deliver.

A 30-post content package often takes a freelancer 15 to 20 hours by hand. With this workflow, plan on 3 to 4 hours. More free hours means more clients.

Income Stream 1: Done-for-You Social Media Content

Small business owners need fresh content every week. Most hate making the content themselves. You sell them a monthly package.

A sample package includes 20 branded posts, 4 carousels, and all captions. Charge $500 to $1,000 per month.

The math: 8 clients at $750 per month equals $6,000.

Income Stream 2: Digital Products

Digital products sell while you sleep. Planners, workbooks, checklists, and template packs all sell well on Etsy, Gumroad, and Stan Store.

Claude writes the content and structure. Canva designs the pages and exports a polished PDF. One product takes a weekend to build.

Price most products between $17 and $47.

The math: 100 sales per month at $27 equals $2,700.

Income Stream 3: LinkedIn Carousels for Executives

Executives want a strong LinkedIn presence and have no time to build one. Carousels earn high engagement on LinkedIn, and few executives know how to make them.

Claude drafts the carousel text from a short interview or an old article. Canva turns the text into a branded, swipeable PDF.

Charge $150 to $300 per carousel.

The math: 8 carousels per month at $175 equals $1,400.

Your Total

Add the three streams:

  1. Social media clients: $6,000

  2. Digital products: $2,700

  3. Executive carousels: $1,400

Total: $10,100 per month.

Your 30-Day Launch Plan

Week 1: Pick one niche, such as dentists, realtors, or fitness coaches. Set up a Claude Project with research on your niche. Build a Brand Kit and three Canva templates.

Week 2: Create three sample pieces for your portfolio. Make one social post set, one carousel, and one short digital product.

Week 3: Pitch 50 business owners through LinkedIn and email. Ask Claude to write a personal message for each prospect based on the business website.

Week 4: Close your first two clients and list your first digital product for sale.

Start with one stream. Add the next stream once the first pays you every month. Keep your paycheck while you build, and leave your job only when your side income covers your bills.

Tools to Start Today

3 Key Takeaways

  1. Claude handles the words, and Canva handles the visuals. The Claude connector for Canva links the two and cuts a 20-hour content job down to about 4 hours.

  2. Three income streams stacked together reach $10,000 per month: done-for-you social content, digital products, and LinkedIn carousels for executives.

  3. Pick one niche and one offer first. Add new streams as your income grows, and keep your job until your side hustle pays your bills.
